My name is Jake Taylor, and I write romance novels. Well, I used to, anyway, before the camping trip where the Grays snatched me. I’m not sure what they wanted with me, but before they could sell me off, I was rescued by a group of mercenaries.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t pay for a flight back to Earth. It’s not part of the Galactic Consortium, so there aren’t a lot of flights going there, and most of them are by races that are stealing the Earth’s resources and fomenting discord so that we never get invited into the Consortium.
But when I’m offered a chance to join the mercenary company that rescued me, I see my chance to not only make it back to Earth, but also to kick those alien assholes off planet once and for all.
They think Earth is their plaything, but I’m going to show them just how wrong they are!
